Versatility is our Specialty!

Where we began

Chris and Michelle began dating in high school, were engaged in collage, and were married in 2008. Chris and Michelle bought their first home, Chrishelle Farm, in 2013 and moved the horses home Spring 2014 after major renovations to the barns and fencing. Michelle attended Veterinary School at the University of Minnesota and now works as an Equine Veterinarian at Sunrise Equine in North Branch. Chris also attended the UofMN for his masters in music and is currently working for an oxygen medical supply company in Cambridge.  Chris and Michelle received their first German Shorthair, Tori,  from Michelle's Sister-in-law, Tierney, in 2012. Tierney purchased Tori from Aus Dem Norden Kennel in December 2011 to be used as her training dog while she attended dog training school in Missouri that year. She took Tori through obedience, agility, and tracking. After she completed her training certifications, Tierney decided to give Tori to Chris and Michelle, so she could fulfill her true potential, HUNTING! Chris and Michelle continued to raise and train her. Chris introduced her to bird hunting and she was a natural at finding and pointing birds. Chris was new to bird hunting himself, and Tori taught him a lot about finding birds and trusting the dog's nose. In 2013, Michelle began to show Tori in conformation at local dog shows. Michelle had never shown dogs before, only horses, but her mother used to raise and show Lhasa Apsos when she was a child, so the dog show world was no stranger. Much to her surprise Tori won Winners Bitch both days of her first show and started her show career off with a bang! Tori earned her Championship Title in 2014, then went on to win a best of breed for a 5 point major the very next day. With this big win, Michelle decided to continue showing Tori until she earned her Grand Championship title in 2015. Chris and Tori also earned Tori's Junior Hunter title in the Fall of 2015. Tori's natural hunting ability, easy going temperament, intelligence/trainability and excellent conformation made her an easy choice to breed and become the foundation bitch of Chrishelle Farm. Since her first litter, Michelle has dabbled in showing her in the obedience and rally rings with great success.

Tori's first litter was conceived on Valentine's Day, 2016 to GCh Ch Hi-Spirit's Aristides RN JH (Carlyle). Nine beautiful puppies were born April 12th, 2016 and all received "Love" theme registered names. The pups are now grown and doing great in their new homes. Puppy buyers have reported that they are very pleased with the puppy's bird drive, natural hunting ability, keen nose, and trainability. Tori's second litter was born May 1st, 2017 and was sired by GCHB CH Aus Dem Norden's Duel in the Desert RN BN CGC ("Phoenix"). This litter produced 11 puppies that all received "Classic Car" themed registered names. Click here for more information about this litter Tori x Phoenix 2017 Litter. This litter is expected to be just as exceptional as the first. These puppies are proving to have beauty, brains, and most importantly, be excellent hunters. Several puppies have started their hunting careers already. Four have already competed in the conformation ring with great success, and all are friendly, loving pets that their owners adore.

Tori's third and final litter was a repeat breeding back to Carlyle with puppies born 4/26/2018. Tori again had 11 healthy puppies that all received a "James Bond" theme registered name. This litter is proving to be even more beautiful than the first with 4 of 7 females destined for the show ring. For more information on this litter click here: Tori X Carlyle 2018 Litter
